Me: "Anya you have a good memory."
Anya: "Yes, I can remember things 10 years ago."

Austria to me on a day Anya was sick and didn't want to play: "I need someone to play with!"
Me: "I'll play with you, anything you want, you choose."
Austria: "NO! I NEED A KID TO PLAY WITH!!!" Maybe I should home-school Anya for this reason alone.  Or work on being more fun.

We were talking about our friend who is about to have girl #4.  Anya said: "I hope we have a boy someday."
Me: "Why do you want a boy?"
Anya: "Because we really need someone to be the prince when we play princesses."
Austria: "Yeah, we need two boys Mom.  I need a prince too."
Anya: "I guess you have to have twin boys Mom."

Olympia!

Today the 2012 Olympic Games in London officially get underway. Our own Olympia is not exactly an athlete yet, but she is finally starting to move around a little and eat a ton now that she turned ONE!  (But no, she can't walk, nor does she crawl the conventional way.)  However, she does excel at sitting in a swing, playing with her sisters, dancing, smiling, laughing, shaking her head no and getting the 4 of us to do anything for her.  Maybe she'll pick up a few moves from watching the Olympics :).
