Atlanta should be one of the better places to live during the winter. However, Anya and Austria have developed a strong dislike for wearing coats, gloves, hats, shoes, socks, pants . . . despite John's and my stories of getting frostbite, slipping on the ice, and having wet feet all day due to tracking to school in the snow for days on end.
This winter was shaping up to be the coldest on record in Atlanta, but fortunately, this last week has been one of the warmest for February. Yesterday John wore shorts. THAT'S why we live here! Though we did wonder when we had a lot of this:
So we haven't ventured out much for the last couple months. We've found other things to do:
(We have become mass consumers of plain white paper, we are currently under contract with Dunder Mifflin and some of the other biggest names in the business so we can get quantity discounts.)
Our trips out are usually to the library (and believe me the coats come off the moment we walk in the door):
We are gladly welcoming our 60/70 degree weather and hope it lasts!
