Since some of you Northerners are stuck in the snow this week, I'm going to share something with you about how we end our winter down here in Georgia. We have a different animal to tell us if spring is coming early - an opossum.
You find some opossum road kill and if it revives itself on February 2nd, it's an early spring.
Here is the one Anya and I found right outside our apartment complex:
Looks like six more weeks of winter!
