Family Fun

The extended Salmon family reunion was held at the beach!  We went of course.  The girls had the time of their lives.  A pool and the ocean and lots of people to play with (not to mention skipping school).  Here are just a few highlights.
 Dolphin Cruise

 Seasick from the dolphin cruise.

 John receiving sand sculpting instruction.

 Burying Grandpa.

 Cute, busy Auch.

 Naps.

 Blessing of W.

I don't know what the deal is with the peace sign.

Poor kid. Can't see very well. But he didn't get sunburned.

Anya trying out the boogie board.

W was extremely popular. I didn't have to hold him much.

The water was even warm enough for me!

 Austria's slightly early birthday celebration.

 Chillin'.

More sand sculpting, girl style. Though John helped...

All in all, a great reunion!

Babies

We just got back from a great trip, but I can't upload my pics yet, so I thought I'd look at our babies and do a little comparison.  Here they all are. How did Anya get so much hair? :)

Neighborly

We've had some bad neighbors, but currently we have the most amazing neighbors. We love it! Our next door neighbor lets us swim in her pool. Can it get any better? We don't have to maintain it and we have a private pool steps away from our door. We may never move!

Wish We Were Swimming

Maybe after school. It's Anya and Austria's first day!  1st grade and Kindergarten.  We left at 7am and thought . . . should they have attended the Salmon Academy?  Time will tell :).

Back to the Books?

School is starting soon. We have met the teachers, been bored to tears (Washington literally) by the meetings, shopped way too many stores for obscure supplies and dug out the back packs. We all have mixed feelings about the end of summer.  Olympia wore her swimming top almost daily in hopes she would use it for its intended purpose.  We all "slept" in daily and did whatever we wanted.  We love summer!  I'm still searching for a 3-day a week school . . .
