Beat the Heat

Anya, Austria and I have learned heat is relative. Before leaving Atlanta to visit family in the West, we had to do daytime activities inside the house or the pool, doing otherwise made us sweat! Here are a couple of things Anya did to entertain herself.

Now that we are here, we are loving the "heat" as you can see from the expression on Austria's face. It doesn't seem very hot to us :) We even wait for the water in the pool to heat up!

So I suppose in the future when I am tempted to wonder why someone in Atlanta is walking down the street in a sweater and hat when it is 70 degrees, I will remember that they just might be from Death Valley . . .
