Arranged Marriages?

This morning at the breakfast table Anya and Austria were discussing who their future spouse would be. Austria was pretty set on Lincoln. Anya was undecided, maybe it has something to do with yesterday, Anya was really upset at one of her male friends who ruined her hair at joyschool.

John and I are hoping to arrange marriages for our daughters. Of course, they are not allowed to marry until age 25. We are fortunate that we know 5 families that currently each have 3 sons that are close in age to our daughters. We are hoping we can negotiate cows or something in exchange for our daughters . . .

A few weeks ago, the girls got to see one of the families with 3 boys. Olympia was scared of their youngest (10 months), so I don't know that we'll be able to negotiate a deal between them, but it looks hopeful for the older two.
