Our computer is busted. We have to buy a new one. Uncle Mark saved us and helped us extract what we wanted. We are so glad! But, alas, this post will have to picture-less. So I'll share a story about being busted.
Our last day driving back from Canada we were in the middle of nowhere Indiana. John was driving. It was Sunday, traffic was light. We are with the three kids in a red minivan. A cop car is ahead. No one dares to pass him. He is going 75 in a 70. John is bored, after all the man has done most of the driving. As he approaches the rear of this good Indiana Sheriff, he says aloud something to the effect of: "What do you think he will do if I pass him? Someone has to do it. I have to find out." So he slowly passes the Sheriff going 76. A couple seconds later, flashing lights/siren. John pulls over.
The skinny,17 year old looking Sheriff says, "You were speeding. I need to see your registration and your license." We are laughing, seriously, 76 in a 70??? John is talking about how he will drive back up here to fight this in court. I'm rolling my eyes. John is saying it is the principle of the matter! Then the Sheriff comes back. "I'm going to give you a warning. But NEVER pass a marked car. I'm the only guy in the WORLD who would give you a warning, everyone else would give you a ticket."
