John and I really love a good airshow. We have gone to one almost every year here in Georgia. So I was greatly disappointed when our usual airshow at a small airport nearby was not happening this year. Then I saw the groupon of a lifetime! Tickets for a bigger airshow an hour away! It was advertised as a family activity. We purchased the groupon of course. As I began to read the details, it wasn't as family friendly for us as I thought. No outside food allowed inside. School bus shuttles into the the show (2 adults trying to carry on a double stroller, 4 kids under 7, large diaper bag, we were entertainment). Long lines for the kid attractions (and they cost a bunch). Hot, sunny day standing on the tarmac. Actual airshow during nap time. Crowed, crowded, crowded. Anya, John and I loved the show, but the rest did not. We finally grabbed some hotdogs (no, John didn't eat them as you know) and sought shade by the playground. Occasionally we saw some of the airshow and made plans for next year to get a babysitter :).
