A month ago he learned to crawl. We are so glad. He was getting so MAD! But, as soon as he crawled, he wanted to stand. He pulls up on everything and then topples over. He also likes to draw on the wall. Yeah, right, you are thinking. Well he has done it THREE times. He tried to stick a colored pencil in the outlet. Cool. He loves to find open doors and close himself in a room. Do you know how difficult it is to open a door with a baby RIGHT behind it?
I know many of you are laughing and maybe even saying welcome to the world of boys. My parents claim I climbed on everything and constantly had a bruised head. But I was kid # 4, and now I know, kid # 4 takes a beating! I may have even climbed up on the counter to get to the top of the fridge where my Mom had "safely" put her eye glasses. But I remember none of it, so it is probably one of those family stories that evolved over time :). John on the other hand, was a crazy kid! He was also kid #4. He is the kid who was always have the strongest man in the world competitions, one of which ended in a broken leg. But hey, given Washington's rough start, in some ways I'm thrilled he is curious and active. And I think he's cute, that helps.
