We celebrated Anya's birthday by counting the number of used diapers in our diaper box... and yep, you guessed it... Over 1000 diapers! What a milestone! I suppose it's time to throw them out...
Anyway, there will be no cake tonight. Perhaps only a smashed banana and some milk. But there will be some fun and games later on. We are planning on going to Anya's first MLB game at Turner Field. The Braves are playing the Tigers. Our goal is to make it to the sixth inning before we are forced out of the field by a tired, little party girl who will need to go to bed before the Atlanta Braves celebrate her birthday with Friday night fireworks.
So, it looks like the 4th of July (or July the 4th for some of us... ;) ...) will be her first firework show.
In the way of gifts, her Grandma in Canada was nice enough to send down a "lambie" book. Thanks Grandma! Her parents will give her a high-chair for her birthday... yippee!
