Just Another Day of Grocery Shopping

My female cashier to a passing male customer to : Do I know you?

Customer: Not yet.

Cashier again: Do I know you?

Customer: Why do you ask?

Cashier: Because you winked at me.

Customer: Oh you liked that? I'm Tyrone.

(Oh please Tyrone, surely you can come up with something better than that! Why didn't you go through her line, since you obviously don't have the best pick up lines?)

Cashier: No, I don't.

Tyrone: What?

Cashier: No, I don't like you winking at me.

(Ouch rejection in front of a whole line of people and ouch because she is slamming my bananas into the bag)

Tyrone: Well, you know, you aren't all that!

(I'm holding in some comments of my own at this point and trying hard to busily put my bags in my cart and entertain Anya--but let's be honest--she was watching the whole thing as well.)

Tyrone starts to walk away saying: You should space out those teeth.

Cashier: You should flatten out that belly.

(My bags are filled, my bananas and nectarines bruised, and my transaction complete so I leave, but maybe I should have stuck around to hear if there was more . . . )
