Me, as we are getting ready to go to the store: "We need to get some fruit at Costco, okay? Will you remind me?"Anya: "Are suckers fruit Mommy?"
Anya, very sweetly: "Can I have a sucker, because I'm a good girl?"
What can I say to that? It's not like she had done anything particularly "good", but she hadn't done anything bad. She was just sitting on the couch. She got her sucker of course. I'm a total sucker when it comes to these cute little girls.
