He was finally successful with pulling his tube out and gave a smile of satisfaction! (You would too, if, from the day you were born, you had a tube running up your nose...)
Afterwards, he promptly fell asleep and dreamed about living just one minute outside of his prison- hospital.
But dreams come true! We posted bail and Little Washington should come home this week!
The warden-nurses want to keep him there (and only one publicly admitted to holding him for no reason other than because she wanted to) but Washington has served his time and should be a free man soon.
Lastly, we went to a meeting where we met the parents of the other inmates. The "crimes" of the other little guys were pretty rough and so many of them will be there for months. Poor little guys. I hope they get on parole soon.
However, we're glad Washington's sentence was only a few weeks and consider it a true blessing. (It put some things in perspective....I walked away with a lot more gratitude for what I have...) We consider it a wonderful miracle and can't wait to let his sisters hold him!
